A Few of My Favorite Things!

I've been seeing some of my favorite blogs listing some of their "favorite things" for Christmas, so I thought I would list mine!


1. Christmas with snow, where we live there is plenty this Christmas!!!
2.  The beautiful smells we have in the store just make me feel warm and cozy, especially the carmalized praline!!
3.  Bronze, Gold and Chocolate decorations on the Chritmas tree!
4.  All of our Awesome customers who have supported us this season!!!
5.  My FAMILY!!!!
6.  STARBUCKS!!!!!!!!! especially the Cinnamon Dolce latte!!!
7.  Italian food!  (my homeade spaghetti sauce rocks!)
8.  Home Decor Magazines, couldn't live without em, I'm addicted to magazines in a bad way!
9.  Diet Coke!
10.  Home Decor blogs!   

I love to decorate with warm colors, even at Christmas!  (sorry, my pictures need a little help, I think I need some photography classes :))  The tree is all bronzes and golds!

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas!

 We have been super busy at the store!  We have not only transformed the store for Christmas, but we have completely re-arranged and re-painted the entire store! (that's why I havn't been posting :( hahaha! )  We had our annual Christmas open house this last Saturday, and it was a huge success!! I know now that all the hard work completely paid off! BIG "Squeezies" to our loyal customers, YOU ROCK!!!! Anyway---above is a tree I did in the bronze and blue theme, I absolutely LOVE these colors together, and our customers must too!  We have re-ordered alot of the items you see on the tree already! 

I loved making these arrangements with all the "bling!"  The one on the right has silver lighted twigs, it's georgous!  I will try to keep adding more pictures for you too! 

I can't believe its been almost a month since my last post!  Where does time go???  Life has been very busy for us lately--kids, sports, harvesting at the farm, you name it!!!!  Here is a picture of somethings I put together today for display. 

Wecome Fall!

I moved some things arround today so I thought I would post some of the fall things we have here at the store.  The "Happy Autumn" sign above is one that I made out of an old cabinet door. 

Here are a few fall arrangements that I made at the store last week.  I just love the colors in these arrangements!  I really believe you could keep these out all year as these colors are popular in everyday home decor!

The "Family" photo frame above is one of  many we have in the store.  They are such neat pieces to give as gifts!  We have alot of people purchase them for weddings! 

Autumn Arriving at the Store

I have to admit, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Fall!  Where did the summer go?  It's once again time to start bringing out the fall merchandise here at the store!  I thought I would share a few of the fall arrangements I put together today.  They both have lighted branches, which is so HOT right now in home decor! 

We got these pictures in a couple weeks ago, and I just love them, espcially with the chocolate and blue!

It seems like forever since I posted last.  It has been a really busy couple of weeks here at the store!  We are getting a few new items in each day, so I did some rearranging of a couple of the displays!  I have so much fun playing with the awesome accessories we get in! 

This is a "tuscan hillside" textured canvas that we have in the store.  It is absolutely beautiful!

Red Poppies Wall Arrangement

I just put this floral arrangement together for the store, and love the way it turned out!  I love red poppies in arrangements! 

I added a wall word to this old cabinet door that I painted and distressed.  I think it turned out to be pretty cool! It is so hard not to take it home with me to hang on my own wall!  I seem to have that problem with alot of things in this store though :)

I did this tree today for a customer's basment.  She decorates with the "rustic/cabin" type of decor.  So hopefully this will fit in nicely.

Special Touches using Accessories

Accessories are an easy way to add a "special touch" to your decor.  Just by adding candles, and greenery around our clock (pictured above) enhances it dramatically!  Its hard to picture the clock by itself now!
